The Intellivision is a home video game console released by Mattel Electronics in 1979. Development of the console began in 1978, less than a year after the introduction of its main competitor, the Atari 2600.

This console was designed for old CRT televisions. It is not recommended for use with modern LCD/Plasma/100Hz tvs which may have display issues - different colours, screen flickering etc.

UHF Channel tuning is slightly different for each individual console and it tends to be on the usual C36 fine tuned between -50 and 0.
UHF Channel 36 refers to a specific frequency range within the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) spectrum: 590–597.99 MHz.

Intellivison games have an unusual handset configuration - for example Soccer requires you to hold the control disc down while pressing a side button to kick the ball.

NB power supply should be unplugged when not in use.
