Make sure the barcode is close to the camera and the camera video stream isn't blurry. You may need to slowly move the item to and from the camera in order for it to focus.

Webcams typically have a lower resolution than the average smartphone camera, meaning a lower scan success rate.

You may also have problems if the webcam doesn't support autofocus.

If your camera does work and it isn't in a fixed position, it may be worth resting the webcam on the tabletop so you do not have to repeatedly reach the games to the top of your screen just to scan.

• Make sure you click "allow" when the page asks for permission to use your camera/video device.
• Make sure you do not have the camera open on any other page/app, otherwise nothing will show on this page.
• Allow the camera to autofocus before expecting a successful scan.
  
  You may need to move the game closer/further away for the camera to focus.
• Lower resolution devices may find it difficult to scan barcodes, or not even work at all.
• A successful scan will show a blue box around the barcode with a red line running through it.
• Allow for 1-2 seconds after a successful scan for the game to be added to your cart.
• Sometimes it will find the barcode, but you will need to manually select the version of the game to add it to your cart.

Please note that we have tested this on a number of different devices with successful results, but it still may not work on all devices/browsers/cameras.
