Privacy Statement

This statement explains how we may collect and use information about you through our website. Chillout Games respects your privacy and does not sell, rent or loan any identifiable information collected on this site. Any information that you give will be treated in a careful and secure manner. It will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.

1. Ordering

When you place an order with us, we collect certain information about you e.g. name, delivery address, phone number and email address. Contact information is used only to get in touch with you when we need to. This includes sending you the games you ordered, a follow up courtesy email to check you have received the order and communications in the unlikely event there’s a problem.

Web payments by credit or debit card are processed by our payment provider SECPAY. When you are ready to enter your card details, you are forwarded to SECPAY’s secure payment page. All financial information is encrypted with industry standard methods and Chillout Games do not record or store your card details on any database or webserver so you can feel safe ordering with us.

Web payments using PayPal are forwarded to a PayPal login screen where you can login to your PayPal account or create a new account. Chillout Games will not ask for your PayPal login or password at any time. As before, Chillout Games do not record or store these card details on any database or webserver.

Telephone orders are accepted for credit or debit card in the event that customers do not have internet access. The card details provided by you will be keyed by us on the SECPAY website (in the same manner as if entered by you on the SECPAY payment page on our website).

2.  Security

SECPAY provide a secure server for all our online credit/debit card transactions. All personal data is encrypted with industry standard methods.

3. Links Page

We have compiled a list of sites which we think will be of interest to our visitors; however, Chillout Games are not responsible for the content of these sites.

4. Newsletters and Promotional emails

If we do offer members newsletters and promotional emails in the future, it will be only to customers that have expressed an interest in opting in to these services.

5. Questions

If you have any questions about our privacy policies, want to exercise your right to see a copy of the information that we hold about you, or think that information we hold about you may need to be corrected, please send an email to sales@chilloutgames.co.uk.

6. General

We do not seek to identify individual visitors unless they volunteer their contact details through one of the forms on the site. Various forms on our site invite you to submit your contact details and other information about yourself or your organisation, or to send us emails which may, of course, also identify you. In each case, the purpose for which you are invited to give us information is clear and we also indicate which of the requested information is essential for the relevant purpose and which is optional - fields for essential information are marked with an asterisk. We will not use your information for purposes that are not clear when you provide your details, and will not disclose it outside Chillout Games, except in very limited circumstances and only with your agreement or where we are legally obliged to do so.

Chillout Games is a UK business with no global operations outside England. We strive to protect the security of information that you provide, and will comply at all time with its statutory and any other obligations in this regard.
