Picking up from the cliff-hanger ending of the original Dark Alliance, BG:DAII once again calls for brave adventurers to take up arms and protect the besieged city of Baldur's Gate. Choose your hero from five new champions - a Barbarian, Necromancer, Monk, Cleric or Rogue - each with unique abilities with which to face the gathering darkness.
Starting with a simple quest to rescue a merchant caravan from the clutches of a group of goblins, it soon becomes clear that the threat to Baldur's Gate is much more serious. Gain new fantastic weapons and armour as your quest continues and use the riches you gain to purchase powerful magical items to aid you in the coming perils. But don't feel you have to enter the fray alone as BG:DAII supports co-operative play for two fearless players.
