Armored Core 3 is set a century after an apocalyptic event, when humans have built an enormous underground city and wars between groups wielding huge robots (Mechs) set the tone of the age.
You control some of these robots and manage a number of strategic elements to successfully complete missions. Compared with previous titles in this series, Armored Core 3 has larger environments, multiplayer gameplay (up to four players can play with a Multitap) and easier robot control through the analogue stick
