Tomb Raider as "The first real 3D interactive exploratory adventure" was a landmark game for the launch of the Playstation One. Despite being released a decade ago, this game still doesn't look dated due to the quality of 3D animation.
Buy this game and throw away the TV guide for a couple of weeks. You'll need a walkthrough guide anyway unless you have plenty of spare time as this is a big game to complete and some of the puzzles/ moves are pretty tricky.
